is this the default Python of MacOS or homebrew, can you attach a debugger after 
compiling with --debug, and as a bonus maybe describe what command to use, gdb or 
what is the standard on MacOS. (Nuitka is supposed to have an option that does this 
automatically, but only for Linux so far).

Then please paste the call stack.

A simple HelloWorld script:

if __name__ == "__main__":
    print("Hello world")

when compiled on OSX El Capitan with python 2.7.10 and --portable option raise a 
segmentation fault exception.
