Hi. I installed the stable Xenial release from here on your website:

Tried to compile a script but put in the wrong python version
that is I typed this:
nuitka --recurse-on --python-version=3.4

instead of this:
nuitka --recurse-on --python-version=3.5

I dont get a warning, instead I get the following cryptic error:
Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "/usr/bin/nuitka", line 162, in <module>
File "/usr/share/nuitka/nuitka/utils/", line 42, in callExec
File "/usr/lib/python2.7/", line 314, in execl
    execv(file, args)
OSError: [Errno 2] No such file or directory

This is a (small) feature request.
Otherwise it did compile an exe which ran - well done :)
